A Spanish industrial group acted as the main subcontractor for a €10 million refinery project in İzmit, Türkiye. The project, commissioned by a global engineering company, involved multiple layers of complexity—both technically and legally. Specific challenges included tax regulations, customs procedures, and navigating local legal frameworks.
Unico Consulting was involved from the earliest stages, even before the contract was awarded. Our role included:
- Preparing the budget proposal
- Legally establishing the company in Türkiye
- Sourcing and setting up physical facilities
- Recruiting and managing staff
- Monitoring the implementation of the three-year work plan
In a second phase, the client opened a commercial office in Türkiye, with continued support from Unico Consulting to ensure a smooth transition and ongoing local operations.
