APPLICATIONS FOR NEW PRE-LICENSES FOR SOLAR, WIND IN APRIL 2015

Türkiye plans to start to accept applications for new pre-license in solar power by the beginning of April 2015, and wind power by the end of the same month. The share of wind power has reached 4.5 percent of Türkiye’s 61,000 (megawatts) mW total installed power capacity, with a number of wind power plants having a capacity of over 1,000 mW. The EPDK has provided licenses for the installment of 9,679 mW of wind power plants until now.
