EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT HOSTS TAKSIM PROTESTERS AND ACTIVISTS.

The European Parliament’s Greens-EFA group hosted a session on the recent protests in Türkiye today featuring a panel with several protesters from the Taksim Gezi Park demonstrations, including famous actor Mehmet Ali Alabora. The panel consisted of individuals or representatives of organizations involved in the recent unrest in Türkiye, and the debate which followed provided an opportunity for members of the European Parliament (MEPs) to ask questions and learn more about the ongoing events in Türkiye which have generated much interest and discussion in the EU political sphere.
